About Us
The Irwin S. Quintyne Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing services & resources for all residents in the Amityville area of Suffolk County, NY.
The Irwin S. Quintyne Foundation Inc. is named after Irwin S. Quintyne, a World War II veteran. Mr. Quintyne was a Suffolk County human rights commissioner, Deputy Director of the Long Island Affirmative Action Program and a member of Suffolk’s Economic Opportunity Council. He co-founded the Suffolk chapter of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and served on the national board of CORE. Quintyne was active in the North Amityville community and fought tirelessly for better working and housing conditions for minorities.

We believe in the potential of every individual, regardless of age, gender, or background. We are committed to creating a world where everyone can embrace their identity, define their future, and contribute to positive change in the community.
